"We'll see you There!"

Martinez Horsemen's Association

Martinez Horsemen's' Association is more than just a social club- our members care about the horse world and especially about our community. Founded in 1945 by a like minded group of horsemen, we are the second oldest club in the Bay Area. Our members are diverse to say the least, we have trail riders, carriage drivers, pony clubbers, english and western riders- some with lots of experience and some with little. The thing they have in common is their love of horses.  Any age, riding style or level are invited to join us - we feel there is always room for one more horseperson!

To see what we have in store for horse people this year visit our calendar page.
Want to know the arena schedule? We have a page for that!
Forgotten a club meeting date- there is a page for that too!
Don't see what you are looking for? Let me know- my info is on every page!

I hope I see you there!

Arena Rental

Arena Rental is available through the MHA. Our Equestrian Park is one of the best in Contra Costa County. It features a sand based arena, 155' wide x 255 ' long. There are three catch pens at the East end suitable for cattle. Stadium bleachers can seat up to 1000 people. The announcers booth and snack shack areas are included in the rental fee. If you do not wish to run the snack shack, MHA can arrange to run the snack shack on the day of your event. There is plenty of parking and shade, water in three places around the arena, and toilets maintained by East Bay Regional Park. The Equestrian Park is easily accessible from Highways 80, 680 and 4.
Prices for a one day horseshow begin at $275.00 per day.
Other events such as Dog Shows, Weddings, Family Reunions or Receptions are also encouraged. Our Equestrian Park isn't just for horses! It is a lovely place to spend a day with the cool breezes of the Carquinez keeping the heat at bay in the summer.
Please call Roxanne Crosby at 925-228-7981 for accessibility and available dates for 2013.
