Martinez Horsemen Association

I live in martinez and love to ride the Franklin Hills , have been a past active member of the association and plan in the future to be more involved.

My wife (Melodi) and I were MHA members from 1997 to 2001.  I retired from the Vallejo Police Dept. in 2004 and moved to Browns Valley, Ca.

I live in Bay Point with my wife Debbie. We have one son, Wade, his wife Genia and granddaughters, Jordan, Morgan, and Jaclyn. They live in St. Joseph, Missouri. Interestingly, that is the beginning of the Pony Express route that goes to Sacramento. 

I have ridden horses all of my life. I was the youngest in the family and my oldest brother bought a Quarter Horse when I was six. I put a lot of miles on that horse. My other brother bought a Quarter Horse and moved away to college. I had a horse to train. My father always had draft horses and mules that he worked with.

I moved to California in 2004 and was given Smarty (I B Maid's Dignitary). I trained him and enjoy riding so much. I have a two year old, Koda, (both are Appaloosas), and am in the process of training him.  

I'm a movie lover and love film noir especially. I prefer to take pictures instead of being in them. My profile pic is an exception because I just had to be in one with Bart. I currently work in a hypnotherapy Leeds company and my husband is the best plumber Leeds if I do say so myself! I am excited to learn more from this site.
