Arena Closed for winter
The Arena is now closed for winter. It will open officially on May 9th.

Arena Open temporarily
With the drier weather and with Bills good work, we are able to open the Arena temporarily! Until it begins raining again, the North gate will be left open so our members can use the arena. Bill says the footing is very good right now!
If in doubt- please call me or Bill Jones before you go.
Also, if you use poles, or barrels or jumps, please be sure to put them away so Bill won't have to move them before he drags the arena.
October update
Because of the unusual rain we had last Tuesday the Waterfront Arena is flooded. It has been closed until October 24th for our Playday. If it stays dry we will leave the Arena open for a few more weeks, but if we get any more rain it will be closed for the season.
TIPS for use of the MHA Equestrian Arena
The arena is open for Public use from Mothers Day in May through November when it begins to rain steadily. Please respect our tips and other riders.
First a few TIPS-
Our Arena is open to the public- EXCEPT when there is an event in progress or there is preparation for an Event.
If you arrive and find an event in progress, please do not disturb the particpants.
If you wish to reserve the Arena see our home page.
Please keep dogs and children on leashes and under control.
Please no bicycles during horse events.
Please do not tie horses to arena fences or the chain link seperating us from the Ball fields.
Please respect other riders in the arena on non schedule days.
Please clean up your toys- don't leave barrels, jump poles, or anything else in the arena after you are done riding.
Clean up after your horses and dogs in the parking areas.
Our Waterfront Equestrian Park is available for rental through out the year. Prices start at $250.00 per (regular) event.
